WOWofYQG Welcomes New Executive Director and a Renewed Board of Directors
WINDSOR, ON (July 1, 2022) - Today, The Women of Windsor Mentorship Collaborative (WOWofYQG), an organisation that specialises in assisting women with their diverse career and professional development ambitions, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director and renewed Board of Directors.
The Board has appointed Hivda Celik as Executive Director of the Women of Windsor Mentorship Collaborative. Hivda, who holds an Honours Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree with a minor in Political Science from the University of Windsor, is a career HR professional who began her journey at the Women of Windsor Mentorship Collaborative through a BSI opportunity from the University of Windsor. Since then, her position has been elevated from Administrative Director to Interim Executive Director, and now to Executive Director within the organisation. Hivda hopes to evolve how mentorship is perceived and delivered in the Windsor-Essex Community through partnerships and internal restructuring. She is currently working on new ideas to further community engagement with a refreshed team and Board, upholding an emphasis on the importance of Women in Business and STEM.
